Role Summary

· We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented, and hands-on Senior Accountant- Financial Controller to manage the company’s accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax, audit, treasury, and controllership activities.

· The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely book closure, preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS, management of lease accounting, income tax computation, deferred tax accounting, transfer pricing support, and coordination of statutory and internal audits.

· The ideal candidate should have strong technical accounting knowledge, sound understanding of Indian tax and regulatory requirements, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, auditors, consultants, and banking partners.

· Experience in NetSuite will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

· Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and applicable regulatory requirements.

· Handle lease accounting, including right-of-use assets, lease liabilities, deferred rent, modifications, and lease surrender accounting.

· Prepare and review income tax computation, tax provisions, advance tax workings, and tax audit schedules.

· Prepare and review deferred tax calculations, including recognition of deferred tax assets and liabilities and related disclosures.

· Coordinate transfer pricing compliance, related party schedules, intercompany reconciliations, and support documentation.

· Review general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and balance sheet schedules.

· Manage statutory compliances including GST, TDS / withholding tax, STPI, FEMA and other applicable laws.

· Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors, and consultants for audit closure and assessments.
