What We Collect
When you submit your salary data, we collect: company name, role, level, years of experience, city, fixed CTC, variable CTC, and work mode. We also store a random device identifier to prevent spam.
What We Don't Collect
We never collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information. We don't use cookies for tracking. We don't sell data to third parties.
How We Use Your Data
Your submission is used solely to calculate salary percentiles and build aggregate salary data for company pages. Individual submissions are never displayed — only aggregated statistics with a minimum of 3 data points.
Device Identifier
We generate a random identifier stored in your browser's local storage. This is used only to enforce the rate limit of 3 submissions per day. It cannot identify you personally and is never shared.
Data Retention
Salary submissions are retained indefinitely to maintain accurate historical data. You can request deletion of your submissions by contacting us, though we may not be able to identify specific submissions since we don't collect identifying information.
Outlier Detection
We automatically flag submissions that appear to be outliers using statistical methods. Flagged submissions are excluded from aggregate calculations to maintain data accuracy.
Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for database hosting and Vercel for application hosting. Both services have their own privacy policies regarding infrastructure-level data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
