Associate Project Manager- Professional Services
The Opportunity:
The ideal Associate Project Manager (PM) candidate will bring client interfacing experience, problem solving skills, and an ability to work with multiple teams on multiple concurrent projects. Core competencies of this role include a solid understanding of project management principles, a delivery focused approach to managing project teams, along with a strong technical capacity and excellent communications skills. Ideal candidates will be familiar managing software initiatives that span proprietary product hardware, across multiple product lines, and Enterprise software applications with flexible deployments (on-premises, cloud, SaaS)
What you’ll do…
Use in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles to drive successful
completion of multiple concurrent projects
Plan and control various project activities to ensure on-time / on-budget delivery to agreed project
deliverables
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to validate deliverables, resource
requirements, priorities, and milestones
Monitor project progress and deliver status reports, timelines, issues, risks and action items to stakeholders and team members
Act as a focal point of escalation for all project related matters
Proactively track scope changes, facilitate the change order process, and effectively communicate changes and manage expectations
Schedule and facilitate stakeholder meetings at multiple levels of an organization, providing leadership around project activities
Maintain core project management tools, including Project Plans, Workbooks, Change Documentation, etc
Who you are?
Minimum 3 years of IT-based project management experience
Minimum 3 years in a customer facing role in a Professional Services or a consulting organization
